"Mark my words !"

Inventing words so things suddenly exists.

Unable to assume the weakness of trusting your love,
you keep your ephemeral beauty for anotherday.

As a matter of fact, People are more and more about to be single.. I mean, that’s nothing bad by definition, but still, it sounds sad to me.

Observing around me, through my biased vision, I have a strange vibe.
It feels like in the last 60 years :
- women got way more freedom and independence HOPEFULLY
- birth control got mostly mastered
- bullshit-based religious behaviors are slowly ending in cemeteries
- people are more connected, though technologies and travel possibilities
- we tend to live more in cities, basically closer to each other

From those statements I would expect a situation where people are more in love ..or at least having more relationships and ending-up less alone, less single.

But that’s not the case and the increase of singles people even have a big impact on real-estate increases of prices.

It feels to me that it’s because the overall culture didn’t change :
- Some people are still looking for “The partner of their life” in a Disney style, even tho life-long wedding became a joke.
- Strict monogamy is still a standard, gods know why.
- Men are still stupidly focusing on their dick and their money, tending to forget to be sexy
- Women still focus too much on sexyness while forgetting how to be fun and confident.
- Most of us didn’t learn anything about sexuality, sensuality and feeling managements
- Women have better purposes than being just housewives and nannies
- “Men financial security” is everyday less useful

Basically, on one hand it feels like engagement checkpoints in relationships become worthless and partners don’t become dependent on each other anymore.

But on the other hand, trust hasn’t been valued more.

Inertia,
That's just what it is.
We invented computer 70 years ago and the default text-software propose you A4 format,
We invented the internet 30 years ago and some people still move to cities to take the metro to work from a laptop doing some off-line excel file, fucking ridiculous.

In 21th century, there are no engagements that are meaningful. Weddings, babies, or nice speeches on moonrises. That’s all chimeras in an over-connected society.

Trusting your partners is the only key.
It’s your choice that does become their responsibilities.
Being trusted is your responsibility, you can’t ignore it, it’s your duty to carry only what you can carry. It’s your duty to adapt your partner’s trust if you can’t hold it.

Else,
If you measure your relation stability by wedding, sexual fidelity, family promise or romantic speeches, you’ll probably end-up in what I call : Loneligammy
